Fill out the Paperwork

We will send you an email from Therapy Portal with access to our patient portal and intake forms will be electronically provided to you. We can also send intake forms via snail mail or have you fill them out at your initial session if you prefer.

What to expect

Initial Intake: (50-60 minutes) Typically this first meeting is for adults only.

• Discuss your concerns and your goals for your child, yourself and/or your family

• Learn about The Coastal Center’s program procedures and processes

• If applicable, discuss how to best transition your child to therapy

• If it feels like a good fit, schedule a second session

For older adolescents, the clinician and parent might decide that it is best for the adolescent to visit independently instead of the initial parent meeting.

Subsequent sessions: Subsequent therapy sessions are typically 40-50 minutes.
